HOLY VIRGIN MARY MOTHER OF GOD

The Eastern Orthodox Church call the Mother of Jesus Christ “Most Holy Virgin Mary” like the Holy Bible in Old Testament, in 4 Maccabees 7:4 call the Eleazar “most holy man”:

4 Maccabees 7:4:

“No city besieged with many ingenious war machines has ever held out as did that most holy man. Although his sacred life was consumed by tortures and racks, he conquered the besiegers with the shield of his devout reason”.

Matthew 3:1-4 – Saint John the Baptist

& Christian Monasticism

Matthew 3:1-4:

1 In those days John the Baptist came, preaching in the wilderness of Judea

2 and saying, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.”

3 This is he who was spoken of through the prophet Isaiah:
“A voice of one calling in the wilderness,
‘Prepare the way for the Lord,
make straight paths for him.’ ”(Isaiah 40:3)

4 John’s clothes were made of camel’s hair, and he had a leather belt around his waist. His food was locusts and wild honey.

EASTERN ORTHODOX CHURCH

Accept the whole Holy Bible – Not like devil in Matthew 4:5-7

The Eastern Orthodox Church accept the whole Holy Bible.

The Protestants misinterpret the Bible by separating specific verses, such as the devil in the three temptations of Christ (Matthew 4: 5-7) who used Psalm 90 [91 masoritic]:11-12 to misinterpret it. Christ replied to the devil with Deuteronomy 6:16.

The correct interpretation of Psalm 90 [91 masoritic]:11-12 comes only if we accept Deuteronomy 6:16. If we isolate Psalm 90 [91 masoritic]:11-12 then we will do another interpretation, as the devil did.

Matthew 4:5-7:

5 Then the devil took him to the holy city and had him stand on the highest point of the temple.
“If you are the Son of God,” he said, “throw yourself down. For it is written:
“ ‘He will command his angels concerning you,
and they will lift you up in their hands,
so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.’(Psalm 90[91 masoritic]:11-12)
Jesus answered him, “It is also written: ‘Do not put the Lord your God to the test’(Deut. 6:16)”.

Mateo 3:1-4 – San Juan el Bautista

& Monacato Cristiano

Mateo 3:1-4:
